Kelly DeMarco - Director
Kelly manages the day to day operations of our children's line, Q Collection Junior™. Over the past ten years she has worked in operations & retail management for companies such as TROY, Netto Collection and Harry Allen. Originally from the West Coast, Kelly received a BFA in furniture design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Passionate about the environment, Kelly is proud to be working for a company that is so strongly committed to sustainability. Jesse Johnson - Cofounder & CEO
Jesse manages Q Collection®'s overall business and is our in-house sustainable materials expert. He has a joint masters in business (MBA) and environmental management (MEM) from Yale University. Jesse currently serves as a member of Yale's Leadership Council and on the boards of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) and 1% For The Planet (founded by Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia). Jesse completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University. His wife, Mary, is a consultant in the field of woman's environmental health and his son, Reeve (8 months) is a senior product tester with Q Collection Junior. Anthony Cochran - Cofounder & Creative Director
Anthony creates the overall aesthetic for Q Collection. He manages product design and development. Prior to co-founding the company, he worked independently in his own design firm, ACD New York, for four years. Anthony also served as Senior Style Editor for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and as an interior designer for various influential firms such as Victoria Hagan Interiors, Stephen Mallory Associates and John Saladino Inc. He studied interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Helen Quinn - Director, Textile Design & Development
Helen is the lead designer for Q Collection's fabrics and accessories. Over the past decade she has produced features for the Martha Stewart television program and magazines, styled sets and props for Pottery Barn Kids catalog and developed paint collections for both Kmart and Fine Paints of Europe. Concurrent with these commercial projects, Helen has created and exhibited her own sculptures and drawings. She received a BFA in textiles from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Jonsara Ruth - Director, Furniture Design & Development
Jonsara is the lead designer and director of furniture fabrication at Q Collection. Prior to joining Q Collection, she was the lead designer for the Martha Stewart Signature Furniture Collection with Bernhardt Furniture. Her designs have been published nationally and have received multiple awards, including the Elle Decor Design Award and most recently the Pinnacle Award by the American Society of Furniture Designers. She has also worked in the design studios of Maya Lin and Tibor Kalman. She brings to Q Collection a passion for sustainability and an artistic approach to manufacturing. Jonsara's artwork has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the country. She received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design and a Masters of Architecture from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Tony Rotman - Production Manager
Tony manages the operation of all production and delivery of furniture, fabric and accessories at Q Collection. He has 8 years of experience in Production Management and Engineering working for Herman Miller and Global Concepts. Tony has a B.S. in Psychology from Grand Valley State University. |
